Freebie Template!

I'm so happy with the way this one turned out! I've been saving it up for a special occassion, and I think a guest post on the lovely, talented Danielle Young Design's blog, is just such an occassion.

Starting Fresh uses Danielle's Here's To You kit, which was first released as part of The Daily Digi Files #15, and is now available over at Oscraps.

So if you'd like this template for a fabulous freebie to add to your stash, head on over to Danielle's blog to grab it. Please remember it's for personnal use only. My Terms of Use are attached, and make for some very interesting reading ;)

MUFOG time! Want to Learn to Digi Scrap?

A bunch of us scrappy girls are getting back together again to spread out all our supplies on a terrifically large crafting table, eat about 8 cooked meals per day, and gossip all hours into the night about all things crafty. Wanna join us?

It's MUFOG time again. So what's that? Monthly UnFinished Objects Group. Check out the details here on Facebook or at the website here. Basically, it started with a bunch of local ladies getting together each month for a chat and craft night. Like a crop, but you could bring along any "job" you've been meaning to finish. Anyway, it created so much interest that the invitation was extended Australia-wide to anyone who might be interested. It soon moved to much larger accommodation and went all weekend (twice a year). All meals are provided and you get to spread out your crafting gear for the whole weekend without needing to pack it away until Sunday night!

And guess what!! I'll be teaching a beginner's course on digital scrapping. So if you've got the itch, now is the time to SCRATCH! I'm only charging $10 AUS. PLUS I'll be giving each participant one of my very own digital kits for FREE, worth more than $10 in itself! So if you're inclined to come along, talk to the organiser here.

MUFOG is now held twice a year, so if you miss out on this one, I may see you at the next!

And as a bonus (to both you and me) this time I'll be hauling a few ute-loads of my traditional paper and stamping supplies there to sell off too. What a BARGAIN! Some of it has never even been opened. I'm great at collecting stuff, but not so quick at using it, lol!

I'm talking big brand name gear, like Stampin Up, American Crafts, Kaisercraft, Wild Asparagus, Bazzill, Basic Grey, Crate Paper, Heidi Grace, We R Memory Keepers, Chatterbox, Scenic Route, SEI, Sassafrass Lass, Making Memories, Walter Knabe, Flavia and more - and that's just glancing at my patterned paper stash!!!

I'll also have paper racks, storage containers, lots of rubber and clear stamps, inks, transparencies, punches, mini albums, embellishments, chipboard stuff, alphas - basically as much as I can carry. And bear to part with (I still love all this stuff. So, so much .... Hope I don't regret this!!!)

So email me asap if you are interested in attending my class. You will not be disappointed!

Freebie Template and Guest Blog Post with Danielle Young Designs

So, you may have been hanging out for my next freebie (or maybe not, lol!).

There's a very special, very shadowy template I've made to feature on Danielle Young's blog here. It incorporates my latest fad - cut-outs!!!! I'm hoping you'll love it as much as I do!

It will be released from the vault on Danielle's blog on September 22 (Atlanta, USA time).

For those of you who are curious, here's a sneak peek!
So join us for a bit of a chat on September 22 and take home the goods!

Scraplift Me in Scrapbook Magazine (UK)

One of my layouts is featured in Scrapbook Magazine (United Kingdom) this month with a challenge to scraplift the design. I've given full instructions for traditional paper crafters and digi scrappers in the magazine, which is out today.

This layout uses Danielle Young Designs Funky Fourth kit, available @ Oscraps.

And to make it even easier, I'm giving you all a freebie template / page sketch.

Download here.

Can't wait to see what you create! Make sure to leave me some love in the comments section, happy scrapping.

And happy reading!

Charity Collaboration Kit @ Songbird Avenue

I have had the chance to have a play with this one already - so much stuff, and so versatile. But I went with the theme of the kit this time (hooray, hooray, will wonders never cease!) as it prompted me to think about all those I've known who have had to deal with this terrible, terrible disease. And the statistics were one in four women will suffer breast cancer (when I last checked) - got me thinking how awful it'd be if it was me or one of my three sisters, or my mother.

This kit goes live on September 1.

Here's what I've made.
